Currently Loving #43

These are the stuff I've been really into lately:D

1) Cheo Yong (Netflix)
Not gonna lie...this show caught my eye because of the lead. I thought the first few minutes of the show were just so-so, but I decided to keep watching and I'm so glad I did. I'm almost done with Season 1. If you're into mystery/horror, I highly recommend this show. Not really scary, but I think the plot of each episode is quite unique. Really...I just love anything with ghosts:D
P.S. Oh Ji-Ho....swoooooooooon.

2) Circle: Two Worlds Connected (DramaFever)
I binge-watched this show, you guys!  This is a sci-fi mystery set in two time lines. So awesome how the writers of the show tied everything together, and it also has a great ensemble cast.

3) NES Classic
I know this is not a new thing, but we just got our hands on it at the Fan Expo as it's been sold out everywhere here. This was bought for the kids but guess who's been playing it the most? Bwahahaha!

4) Japan: The Cookbook
This was an impulse buy at COSTCO. I haven't made anything from it, but that hasn't stopped me from looking at it everyday. The recipes are not the easiest to make, but gosh! They sure do look good.

5) Photography Books
Annie Liebovitz: A Photographer's Life
Vivian Maier: Street Photographer
I've had these books for awhile now but am featuring them here because the images in these books are just so inspiring to me that I always seem to find a reason to look at them all the time.

I've glanced through some of Annie's other books but this was the one I knew I had to get for myself because I love the personal shots she included: of her family, even the heart-breaking ones of Susan Sontag when she was dying, and the photos from Sarajevo. I've always just known her fashion photography work, so it was a great discovery for me to see these.

Vivian Maier has been an inspiration since I saw the documentary Finding Vivian Maier. One might not find her personal life "agreeable" but her shots (to me, anyhoo) always tell a story, which I hope to emulate someday.

Oh the classic NES would be so much fun! I bought hubby one of those plug in game machines for the TV, it was like the old Sega megadrive system, it was quite fun to play with but with the kids we haven't played it in a while, haha! Once they get older it would be fun to play together like you can with your kids :)

I hope that you are having a great week :)

That is super cool that you guys got a NES Classic! Sounds like you've been enjoying it lots too ;p I'm also such a fan of Vivian Maier's photography work. Her ability to convey a narrative through her images is indeed most admirable!
YES. Everything on this list sounds great! Especially the NES Classic. We have one at my place and it is so much fun. It definitely brings back the memories.

I can't watch any ghost shows but I do love the photography books. That dish looks great, will you share when you make something out of the cookbook. I'd like to know how it turns out.

Hello Emmy
I love cooking books, but I confess I don't cook anything !!!
As for the book of Vivian I feel crushed only by seeing these photos that show reality as it is. I don't even feel good.
As for the series, I understand your interest in the actor, you know what I mean ahahah !!
