Inspiration: Yohji Yamamoto

“I think perfection is ugly. Somewhere in the things humans make, I want to see scars, failure, disorder, distortion.”
― Yohji Yamamoto

I've been a fan of Yohji Yamamoto for awhile and am quite surprised to realize I haven't featured him before. His work is just so beautiful...very minimalistic at most times but the way he does his draping is just magical.

I really love his Ready To Wear Spring 2019 collection and basically want everything.
Here are my faves.

He is just the coolest.

These are such great pieces! I love how he keeps things simple with the monochrome black and relies on the cuts and drape of the fabric to make it interesting. I'd never heard of the designer before so thank you for sharing! :)

Hope that you have a great weekend ahead of you! It's going to be a rainy one here!
