Some analogue love #4

Here are some shots I took on my Pentax K1000 using the Fujifilm Black and White Acros 100 (unedited).

Not gonna lie...I messed up on the exposure in some shots especially the indoor ones. Really sucks that I can't practice shooting outside as much on winter...sigh....

Anyhoo, it was still fun, although I think after I finish the other Acros rolls, I'm gonna try the Ilford HP5 400. If you guys shoot film, what is your favourite brand when it comes to B&W?

LOLZ...definitely out of focus but I kinda like this shot.

It's okay chingu, the more you practice, the better you will get with your exposures :) I preferred Ilford paper for my prints back in the day but I never really tried out their films. My favorite b+w film was always Kodak TMAX (100 or 400 depending on what I was shooting.) I liked that it was less grainy than Tri-X and more versatile.

When I used to take black and white shots I always used Ilford HP5 film. That's what we were told to use at Uni. I liked the results. I like the last one too!
You are incredible! And I just love looking at black and white photographs. My favourite is definitely the one with your reflection in the car mirror! It is beautiful.

I like the out of focus one at the end too - these are nice shots even if you didn't get all the settings as you would have hoped - it must be so tricky not being able to get immediate feedback when taking a picture, I'm so reliant on digital cameras and being able to delete the ones that go wrong, haha!

Hope that you are having a wonderful weekend :) The summer heatwave continues here!

Hello Emmy
I don't use this type of machine nor do this kind of photos, but I like to see, and I want to see your evolution here on your blog, the more you practice the better the results I already think they are very good !!!!

These black and white shots are great Emmy. I have an affinity for black and white photography, I used to shoot only b & w. It's so lovely that you enjoyed shooting and definitely takes some getting used to. I just bought a new lens and still trying to take more time with my camera. Have a great start to the week. x /M
These are incredible Emmy. I love that shot of the rooster. Something about it is very captivating to me. I adore black and white photography. I can't recommend any brands to you sorry. I can only suggest asking in a photography store. Usually they should be knowledgable and suggest a brand that works well with your camera etc.
