Linen love

There's really nothing like wearing linen during the hot summer months. This dress might be black, but I love wearing this in the summer coz linen:D

Such a lovely classic little black dress! Linen is a great fabric to wear in the hear, although I hate how it wrinkles!

This breezy dress is perfect for summer! I really want to like linen since it's cool but I tend to equate wrinkles with being slovenly so I've always stayed away from it ;p

I have this linen tailored suit jacket that I intend to wear to my daughter's Graduation, but the negative is that it creases real bad!

Yes this is so true! Linen and light satin. Both so breathable you kind of feel like you are wearing nothing. This dress is great. It looks chic and I bet it is super comfortable,

This looks so comfortable! I love that it still works for summer because it's linen. I love wearing black but never really get to during the summer months. This is the perfect way to get around that issue!

I love the idea of linen but I hate the feeling. I also always feel really uncomfortable in it, especially in the warmer months. I feel like I can't breathe in it when I first put it on, maybe that's the trick, to wear it for longer than a few seconds hahaha!

The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders. I know a lot of people don't like wearing leggings as pants. I'm not one of those people. (I do have a rule that the top has to be long enough to cover your butt.
