Inspiration: Wes Anderson and his Isle of Dogs

With the quarantine going on right now, my family and I have been doing the "Netflix and chill" a lot lately. If you've been reading my blog for awhile, you may know I'm a big horror film fan, but alas, it's not something I can really watch with my kids (especially the youngest one).

Isle of Dogs (by Wes Anderson) is the answer....the one movie  I can watch with them over and over, and good thing, because this is probably one of my all-time fave movies ever (hence the stand-alone post about it:))

Next to Hayao Miyazaki films, Isle of Dogs is the kind of film I would like to make...if I ever decide to be a film maker:D

PS Having an awesome voice cast (ie Ed Norton, Bryan Cranston) doesn't hurt either.

I haven't seen or heard of this film before but I love dogs so it looks interesting! I'll need to see if it's toddler appropriate, haha! Thanks for the idea! :)

We will be watching the recently released Frozen 2 on Disney this weekend for our weekly family movie night :) So far we haven't added any more movie nights but who knows what the future holds!

Hope that you are having a nice weekend :) It's another quiet one here.

Away From Blue
Okay, my brother actually recommended this movie to me a while back. I meant to watch it but it totally slipped my mind. Thank you for the suggestion! I will watch it this weekend for sure! Hope you and your family are staying safe and continue to do well.

First I've heard of it.
We started this film a few times and have never managed to get through it but now that we're in quarantine, I think we'll finally be able to watch it through. Surprisingly we haven't been watching that much tv so far because we've had other things to do. Stay safe and well chingu!
I've always wanted to see this. I came close on the plane the last time I flew but I had taken a sleeping tablet (before I found this to watch!) and fell asleep hahaha. I remember waking up and seeing a few scenes here and there as I dozed on and off and was meant to watch this when I got home but forgot. Thanks for the reminder Emmy. Hope you and the fam-bam are keeping safe
