Celebrating the little things

I know these past few months have been super hard for the whole world, but I have to keep reminding myself that every day we are here and alive is a blessing. (Being able to post these silly outfit posts is something I try not to take for granted.)

This year's Mother's Day, we were still unable to get together, but we were still able to drop by and see my mom's and my husband's mum. Even though it's not the best situation, I am still glad that we were able to "celebrate" it.

Luckily, my mom and in-laws have been vaccinated. YAY!

How was your weekend?

Oh, I so love this yellow! We were able to meet up early for Mexican food here. A few places were open. Just not my favorites. It was nice to see relatives I haven't seen in a while. Most of us were vaccinated. And we did go with masks on. BTW I just started K-Drama BOSSAM (Which was this thing of stealing widows back in the Joesen era so they could get married again) With Jung Il Woo which I think is his best drama since getting out of the military. He was the oldest brother in Cinderella and the 4 knights but my most favorite of his was High End Crush. Thanks so much for this sweet post. I hope things are on their way to getting back to normal.

Lovely shots of the family, and I agree at the moment I'm just thankful that my family are all alive. This last year has been brutal. Your daughter is definitely your mini me. :D

That's wonderful that you were able to spend sometime with both mum's.
Your boys have some great hair!
You are so right. Just being able to share blog posts is a blessing and not something to be taken for granted! It is so hard to focus on all of the wonderful aspects of life when the pandemic starts to drag you down emotionally. I've been having a rough time, but just reading your post put so much into perspective for me. Truly, thank you. I am SO glad you were able to do porch visits. They aren't ideal but they are absolutely meaningful. I was able to do the same! Also - I LOVE that Urban Outfitters dress. It is so cool! You always have the best style.

That dress is cute on you!

It's so sad you weren't able to celebrate properly but so nice you could visit and say hi from a distance! It's sad things aren't safer for you but I'm sure they will get there soon!

Hope your week is going well!
