What have I been watching #23

Stuff that I've just watched or currently watching that I highly recommend:)

1) Wonder Woman 1984

I finally saw this, and I really liked it! Not as much as the first one, but it was still a pretty great movie with a great cast. Both Pedro Pascal and Kirsten Wiig were awesome as the "villains".

2) Case
I just finished watching this Icelandic series and man....what a dark show this was, but the plot line with all its twists and turns was great. If you watch enough Icelandic shows, you also begin to recognize the actors and actresses from other series, so it was great to see familiar faces.

3) Demon Slayer
My two teen-aged boys kept telling me to watch this coz they really loved it, and now, I totally understand why. I am still watching this currently, and I am really digging it! Love the main characters Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko:) Fun watch if you're into animé for sure.

4) The Great British Sewing Bee Season 7 (BBC)
Man...if you're into sewing, you probably know this show. Such a great wholesome fun series for anyone who loves the craft, and the season winner was so well-deserving. This show has really inspired me to sew more outfits:)

5)Whitechapel
Keeping up with the British theme....just started watching this murder-mystery series, and it's quite good as well:) It's not a new one (Season 1 came out 2009), but still a great watch.

What have you been watching lately?

PS To all who celebrated yesterday, belated Happy Father's Day!

from my crew to yours:D

Awesome summer viewing! I am almost finished up with C-drama Court Lady which is bit like Game of Thrones without dragon..yet has a crazy king and family. It started off like a comedy, but ever to tragic. The interesting twist is one part where the young entertainer was a good friend to the prince but the King would have none of that and told the prince to kill him so the entertainer was warned and killed himself, but a few episodes later a fellow turns up who looks just like him and of course, he is pure evil ready to take down the royal court one by one. This one has beautiful costuming. Especially women's outfits. I did start a new K-drama "At a Distance, Spring is Green" with Park Ji Hoon based on a webtoon. A college story, but his character who is both sweet, rich and popular also has a very dark family past too.

Wow your kids grow taller every time I come here! Great to see them wearing masks!
I've never even heard of The Great British Sewing Bee and I'm a Brit! Haha.

Such a cute pic of your family! I'm guessing the sewing bee is like the bake off show? Sounds perfect for you! Probably one of the things I could watch - scary/thriller/dark shows aren't my kind of thing, I'm to easily spooked, haha!

I have been trying to watch some episodes of Superstore though on Netflix when I get a moment - i really like that show!

Hope that your week is off to a good start :)

I have not seen any of these. I am rewatching Imposters on Netflix with my husband. I had watched it earlier and now he is watching it.. it's such fun I can't help but watch again with him.
OMG the kiddos are so tall now! Wanted to like WW84 but we found it unwatchable and gave up about 30 minutes in ;p We have been on a K-drama and K-variety kick and are watching Youn's Stay, Mad For Each Other and Hospital Playlist 2. Also just finished Itaewon Class and Let's Eat 2.
