Semi-quarantine life #6

Because our vaccination rate has been really good lately and cases are really low (well....low for us), restrictions have eased up a bit in Ontario, so yay! We are finally able to do some stuff that we have not been able to for awhile.

1) Being able to go the mall

2) My obsession with Alabama Chanin continues...
latest sewing project (pattern and fabric from Alabama Chanin)

reading and re-reading my Natalie Chanin books:) (plus one from the library)

3) Enjoying the flowers during our walks

4)Watching the 2021 Summer Olympics whenever I can

5) Eating out (literally)

What have you been up to lately? Are there still restrictions where you are?

It's so nice life is returning to normal for you! Aside from the face masks, no restrictions here - there is a limit of 100 guests to our house but I can't imagine when that restriction would ever impact us, haha! It's nice to see things are safer and you can get out more, it's been such a long time coming for you and you deserve to enjoy it all! :)

Hope your week is off to a good start :)

We have been full capacity for the last few months. Still places to eat only did take out for quite awhile, not enough people to employ or either able to get the essentials they needed for their menu. It was great to go to Jade Palace Saturday night. One of our favorites in town. But our favorite waitress doesn't work their anymore. Still it was great to dine in. Love what you are creating and learning! Beautiful work.

Oh, I have been watching the K-Drama MOUSE. It has the same actor who was the main lead in Vagabond that's on Netflix. MOUSE is about a rookie cop who comes face to face with serial killer.

Hey Ms. Shon! Thanks so much for dropping by! And hope you are having a great summer as well:)
It's great that restrictions have eased up and you and the fam are able to go out and about again. Canada has been much better about vaccinations than the US and I'm sure that helps keeps the cases low. They lifted mask mandates awhile ago and coupled with the dumb anti-vaxxers, we are trending in the wrong direction. I'm not going out much except to my doctor's appointments and to run errands. I don't go to the grocery stores anymore because there are too many people without masks. Enjoy and stay safe chingu <3

Things are back to normal here - although there are a lot more people with masks than there were a month ago. We'll see how this all continues to play out over the next few weeks - stay healthy!

Yay! It is honestly so nice to be able to do a few things here and there. It really makes life feel slightly more normal again. SO glad you were able to actually eat outside. What a fun experience....something that was so taken for granted before! I hope the number stay low so everyone can continue to enjoy the fun aspects of life :)

MOUSE is actually on Viki. Sorry..but maybe it will be on Netflix some time in the future.

I got inspired when I came across some crocheted hats on pinterest so I have been crocheting this week. When I found out this one lady on esty didn't even use a pattern it made things even for elating to me. I do have too much yarn. So at least it's a way to have explore and of course hopefully make something. I hope you are having a good week.

Beyond Evil is on Netflix (another serial killer drama) with Yeo Jin Goo!

I hope your week is productive and all is well with the last week of July.
