Just in the nick of time....

Soooo....I did end up getting Covid. I guess it was only a matter of time since everyone else got it. Thank you to everyone who reached out to ask how we were all doing:) XOXO

Anyhoo, in a way, the timing was perfect, coz we all were out of isolation, and negative again this weekend when my daughter's Confirmation happened. (I must admit, though, that my energy level is still not what it used to be:( )

As a Catholic, this is a pretty big deal for us. My daughter prepared for it for about half a year...mostly virtual. The actual ceremony happened in person, and thought I'd just share some pics here:)

I sewed these outfits awhile back...both for me but my daughter can wear my clothes now! (Tilly and the Buttons pattern for her jumpsuit, and the Alabama Chanin Panel Tank dress pattern for my dress)

with her godmother:)

with the Bishop who officiated the ceremony

Family picture time!:D

How was your weekend?

Such a great moment for you guys. I am so glad you are all on the mend now. Love the outfits you made❤️💕❤️ I did get my 4th booster on Friday. Then I heard from a co-worker she'd gotten the Moderna (changing it up) She'd heard it was best to do that. If I'd only know, I might have gotten that instead of Pfizer. But it didn't feel so bad this time.

Woori the Virgin is now on Viki. It follows Jane the Virgin. Only 14 episodes. I'm also watching a Japanese series based on the Manga - Mystery to Iunakare... It's not Mystery. It is such addictive show.

The library is now getting ready for the summer reading program.

I hope you are resting up. All the best to your beautiful creativity and beautiful family too!

We nearly thought we had Covid in our household last week but phew it turned out to be really bad allergies. We did just got out 2nd boosters just to be safe though.
Oh, I am so sorry that you ended up with COVID. You did everything you could to avoid it, but it is really hard when everyone in your family has it. I do hope your energy levels will continue to improve and you will be back to normal soon! I'm very glad that you were able to attend the confirmation. What an important milestone. The pictures are beautiful!

I love both of your and your daughter's outfits - your dress is gorgeous! I'm so pleased that you have all recovered from Covid. I haven't had it yet but people I know who have definitely say the fatigue hangs around - I hope it lifts quickly for you! It's good you could still attend this event as you were all well enough!

Hope you are having a good week :)

Congratulations to your daughter! I'm glad you survived Covid. Yes my energy levels were down for a few months after getting covid. Still not sure I'm totally back to normal now. Or that's just me getting old. What a smart looking family.

That's terrible that you got COVID! But it's good that at least the timing was right and you were able to attend your daughter's Confirmation. Both of your outfits are beautiful, by the way. The peaches and pinks really pop. Your daughter is so lucky to have a mom who makes such lovely clothes. Although maybe you're less lucky now because you're the same size and have to share? Just kidding! Anyway, best wishes for continuing to be on the mend. :)

I was so worried about you, when you said you had it. I felt for you. So glad you're fine now. I remember my confirmation. This brought back so many memories. It's a lot of preparation. Congratulations to your daughter Emmy. She's beautiful. And the fact that she can now wear your clothes is absolutely amazing. HaHaHa Well, she has some cool clothes to wear!
