St. Jacobs

This past weekend, our family decided to go to St.Jacobs Farmers' Market for a day trip. It was about an hour and half away for us, so not too far.

From the website:

Known as Canada’s largest year-round farmers’ market & flea market, find hundreds of local vendors inside three main buildings and in an outdoor area that swells as the growing season progresses. Some items are brought to market by the truckload; other arrives by horse & buggy from local Old Order Mennonite farms: fresh local fruits and vegetables, quality meats and cheeses, locally-produced maple syrup, honey, preserves, baking, authentic cuisine from many cultures, imported produce, various gluten-free and organic options, local crafts, housewares, wearables, and more.

We had a great time, just walking around and checking out the stalls.

My haul for the day...don't judge.

Do you guys like going to farmers' market?

What a fun family adventure! It sounds like it was a bit of a drive, but sometimes, going exploring makes the trip worth it. Especially with so much to look at. Glad you found a few fun items while you were there and made some special memories with the family <3

Looks like such a fun time. Our town has a farmers market. We went many times last year but this summer was just so busy we never got the chance.

How cool that this market operates year round. I bet it can be a different experience depending on the season. Looks like you guys had a fun family adventure there. Your rainbow hair is totally daebak Emmy <3 Hope your week is off to a wonderful start. It finally started feeling like winter in NYC last week and I thought I would dread it but I actually quite like it.

Wow, what a beautiful indoor farmer's market! How cool. We have one in the summer at the park and a couple of others through the fall, but not one as big as this. We do have a huge food court to go to in one of the older buildings in Omaha that's great to get to during the winter. Oh, I hope the bubble tea was good! At least we have a milk tea place near the library where I work so that's always a fun stop. Although, I don't go very often. Looks like you guys had a great time! Happy Thanksgiving!

I really like going to farmer's markets - did you try The Best Bubble Tea? lol
That was a really nice family outing Emmy. It’s huge. Whenever I visited my aunt in Cincinnati we would go. We don’t have anything like that nearby.
