Easter 2023

 Hey hey! Time for another Easter post:D (Here's the one from last year)

As a Catholic, Easter is a big deal for us...right up there with Christmas. This year, we went to church as always. My mother then had an Easter luncheon at her apartment. (We also did a belated celebration of my birthday:D)

My middle child is an altar server, so it was a busy week for him.

Emmy, Happy Belated Easter and Birthday! I never knew when your birthday was??? I am totally salivating. The food you guys have always looks so delicious. I could just dive right in. HaHaHa Your sister bakes the best cakes. I always love how she decorates them. Everyone looks well. Great time!

Just in time

The latest item I finished knitting: the Waiting For Rain shawl:) Love how this turned out, you guys:) The yarn was really lovely to work with (Kaleidoscope) and the pattern was easy to follow. Now that it's getting colder again, a knitted shawl is always handy to have:D It's just the right length, and it sits nicely on the shoulders. Life lately- end of the school year 2023

 Soooo....the last week of school is always crazy in our household, but this year was crazier than usual coz my middle and youngest children both graduated (high school and elementary)! Wut?!?! This was the dress I wore during the tea ceremony at my wedding and it fits her now!  We also just celebrated Canada Day! Here are some pics I took over the weekend.
