Bulky

 We've been having some really cold and snowy days lately. I know, I know...."Emmy, you live in Canada! D'uh!"

Let me tell you, as a Canadian, it is my God-given right to always complain about winter. We all do! Anyhoo....all this to say, there's nothing like bulky coats and sweaters to get you through these chilly days:D

We have been blasted with snow too and the negative windchills have taken over. Oh, if only I had your boots! I love this cozy coat, but really you gotta live in a parka and many layers here. Last week, I wore leggings, a maxi dress, a shirt, a sweater, and of course, my pink boots just to get meds. Even inside I am bundled up in my hoodie and leggings. I have to start the car up every couple of hours too.

I just started Song of Illusion (It is a debate if it's a period piece or a fantasy) However, Ji Joon is showing he can play complicated characters. I really liked his Weak Hero series although, it really gets rather violent. This one on one hand he has that soft artistic side and yet he might be a sinister prince too.

We had our coldest day of winter today in NYC and I instantly pulled out my long down coat and Uggs. I wish I could wear a cool coat like you but I gladly sacrifice style for warmth cause I'm a total wimp when it comes to the cold. You can totally get around the bulk if you do thin warm base layers btw ;p I will sacrifice style but I draw the line at looking bulky LOL

I have definitely been complaining about the weather also! Somehow, I thought we might get by without a true winter chill...but it arrived in full force. I haven't quite gotten used to it yet. I've had to bring out my heaviest winter jacket. Sigh! I love what you wore to stay warm. You look so stylish, always!

Some analogue love #2

Here are some recent shots taken with my Pentax K1000 film camera. I decided to mail my films and have them developed at Downtown Camera , and oh my gosh, you guys! Such a big difference with how they turned out. So so happy, and will be sending all my 35mm films to them from now on. (All these shots were how they were sent to me...no editing. Used Fujifilm ISO200 films.)
