Here we go!

Another set of photos taken in a mall, but I am stating my 2024 resolution here for accountability: No-buy in terms of clothes and shoes from January to June. Wish me luck!

(PS I will probably still be taking photos in stores though, coz window shopping...:D

Oh, you look so fab. I hope you are warm in those jeans though!

I don't have any resolutions specifically. A lot will change this year in many ways. Like some downsizing and death-cleaning. My husband is on oxygen and in the hospital with congested heart failure due to cellulitis. I have heard more of cellulitis this past year than ever before. Listening to mainly men who had Covid without the vaccine seem most susceptible to this happening, but then again it happens. Also, he just would not go to the doctor. We did have quite an ordeal getting him to the ER. I had to call 911. He was getting pretty weird...and he could not get out of a chair (He didn't sleep for so many weeks) So has a lot of rest to catch up on. Hopefully, all is on the mend. Although, I am not sure I can do enough to get the house ready..especially with a snow storm coming.

Really like that turtleneck! Does eating more veggies count as a resolution? lol

Not really a resolution person. Just do better than last I guess. Better at what I don't know.. it's just a general idea. Good luck with the no buying resolution.
I'm not really doing a no buy rather than continuing to consume mindfully which means just classic and well made staple wardrobe items that I can still see myself wearing in 20 years. My goals are more related to fitness and wellbeing than anything else. Hope 2024 is treating you well so far Emmy <3
Oh wow. A no buy on clothes and shoes is a difficult one to accomplish, but I'm sure you can do it! And in the meantime, you can enjoy all of the wonderful items you have...like those gorgeous jeans. (Seriously, those jeans are so fabulous!) My husband and I are doing a no spend January/February where we don't get takeout or buy non-essential items. It's a little too easy to throw extras into the cart!

Happy new year! :)

I love your resolution! I should probably do something similar, I did a lot of shopping last year! But most of it was second hand and it was all under $500 so I'm not putting myself on a complete no-buy yet. I still have some things I got for Christmas that I want to wear so that will keep me happy for a while, and I did a big wardrobe clearout and reorganisation so I am very content with what I have in my wardrobe :)

Oh my goodness! That is a good one! I need to also not buy anything for a while. I can do really good for months, but I always revert to those shopping those unnecessary shopping habits. I don't have any New Year Resolutions, but thank you for inspiring with yours! Have a great weekend!
