Another one...

Going to the Martyr's Shrine in Midland, Ontario (about an hour and 45 minutes away from us) is another family tradition that halted when COVID happened. The last time we went was in 2019.

This year, the church finally opened up, and we were finally able to go back. We took my mum with us:D

It looked sunny but it was super cold!

For some reason, my husband's eyes were closed in most of the pics...this was the best....)

I've never posted the inside of the church, so I decided to take few pics this time. It's a beautiful church.

Then, we went to a nearby restaurant.

Do you have a place you go to regularly as part of a "tradition"?

So happy to hear you were able to visit the church and were able to go back to enjoying some of your traditions.
That is so nice to see that you can come back to that church and take your mum also on trip. I hope so that you had great time together.

Definitely a beautiful interior
So glad you guys were able to get back there. It’s beautiful. I love stained glass windows. They always tell a story. Beautiful day, despite the cold.
