SCARBERIAN FASHION LOVER

I don't usually wear white, but my younger sis gave me this top and this is the first time I got the chance to wear it. I quite like it! The last time I've posted a vlog here was during our Florida trip in 2017, so I thought I'd post another one. This is a day-in-the-life, recorded on Sunday, which is usually a family day for us:) Hope you like it:)

I first discovered Tissot (1836-1902) when I saw his etchings at the AGO during the late 90's (I think) and instantly fell in love with his work. It's one of those "Holy Cow! This is just too amazing" moments for me, you know? The romantic in me also was really enamoured by love story between him and and his muse Kathleen Newton, an Irish divorcée. (You can read more about it here ). Unfortunately, I don't hear much about James Tissot's works these days, so I thought I'd feature him here, as his work is one of the reasons I became interested in fine arts (aside from Van Gogh). To this day, I still look at his drawings and paintings for inspiration...for what is possible. (All images from https://www.jamestissot.org/) Do you have a favourite artist?

I can't believe it's the last day of spring break, you guys! Wut?!?!? Anyhoo, just thought I'd share some of the shenanigans we've been up to, including our usual Great Wolf Lodge trip. It feels like the cold weather will be here longer than usual, so why not a bright jacket to "brighten" up the day, eh? Topshop jacket. Got this for such a good price. This black jacket was one I got during Boxing Day, but frankly, it's not as warm as my other jackets, so I wait patiently when I can wear it. Soon, I hope. Lucky Brand jacket What are your new purchases?

Soooo....when I took these pics, they looked ok to me. Fast forward a few days later when it was time to edit and upload them here, I then noticed that my sweater was partly riding up on the chest area. I thought...should I even bother?  I'm still posting them here because I really love this sweater:P And honestly, I will never be one of those fashion bloggers who are always well-dressed and put-together.
